Papers - Scientific paper PDF management
Most scientists have transitioned from the paper
manuscript world to the electronic digital world especially when it
comes to managing scientific papers. I've been using Papers,
a Public Preview (aka Beta) program programmed by 2 grad students in
the Netherlands that is a nice and elegant way to organize PDF
files. It features interface with Pubmed, saved searches with
Pubmed, and the ability to integrate your existing PDF file
structure. I've toyed with Endnote, Adobe Acrobat, and iTunes to
manage my PDF's but Papers is by far the best and most Mac like
environment I've used. I especially like the ability to view the
PDFs full screen when I read the articles.
